ISPS Handa Portugal OpenWe arrived into Portugal early on Tuesday (Its only a 3 day event). This is one of the most hilliest courses I have seen.. Sorry to Daz for carrying the bag up and down these hills!! 🙂 My legs were sure feeling it even just after the practice round! I was staying on the course in an apartment, which was nice, with a few Aussies, so there was sure going to be lots of laughs had this week. And its always nice to be in an apartment rather than in motel room, some space and we are able to cook also.

My game was starting to feel better, and I guess I was feeling more comfortable with my new surrounds (Tour life) and I guess just trying to get used to playing professional golf. I was staying in a large home on the golf course with a few other Aussie girls and a couple of the caddies, so was going to be a fun week! I started off steady again,  but couldn’t seem to get the putts to sink. Story of a golfers life I guess!!

A couple of birdies followed by a few more bogeys leave me after day 1 at +3 and some work to do to make the cut.
Nothing really happened for me during day 2 either, and a double bogey on my 8th hole really put me behind the 8 ball, I fought hard, and played some solid golf, but only 1 bogey on the back 9 wasn’t going to make it.

So I left the course feeling a little down, but it never takes me long to get over it, and I have to look at it like I only have to wait a week to get another shot at having a good week!! 🙂 So now off to Germany for what is meant to be one of the best events for the seasons!

Thanks for following, Stacey x
