Well its been quite some time since I touched base with everyone.. Yes I have been busy, but I haven’t had a lot of news either!!

Since being in Australia I have spent most of my time in USA, bar a couple of weeks in England. I have been really enjoying the states, as this really is where I want to play my golf, on the LPGA.

When I first came over with conditional status on the LPGA, my intention was to play on the Symetra Tour (secondary LPGA Tour) with the hope to get some starts on the main tour. I played well in the first couple of Symetra events, and then at the last minute I got into the LPGA event in Texas, so I flew straight there.. I had ONE practice round and teed up the next day finishing 19th.. It was great timing for me, as the re-rank was after this event. So I moved up the order on rankings and I have got into every LPGA event since! During this time I also did US open qualifying, and got in which was a goal of mine at the start of the year. I didn’t have a great event, but I hope the more experiences I get to play in majors the better for it I will be. I have had mixed results since, some good golf, some not so good, made cuts, missed cuts, and everything in between..

Since then I also qualified for the British Open, again a goal of mine, I played ok in this event, still I didn’t make the cut but felt like I did a lot a things “right” here.. and I always enjoy playing a British, on true links style courses, as it requires a wider variety of shots and a lot more feel and its just fun!!

So now back in the USA with a stretch of 4 events, which i’m hoping to get things going again, after some good work with my coach, im feeling good about things! Even though I haven’t had the results I would have hoped to this point, I am enjoying it, and feeling more and more comfortable every week, so I guess, as my mum would say, stick at it, patience, and things will turn!!

And more importantly Geelong CATS are still sitting comfortably in the top 4, and I got up this morning at 5am to watch them sneak over the line against Dockers!!

So until next time… good golfing to all!

Stace 🙂
