australiaWell after 6 months out of Australia its always nice to be back, just to do some ‘normal stuff’! I have been home for a few weeks now, and still enjoying it, but always looking forward to the next event!

I finished up my LPGA season on a good note which was nice! We played in Prattville, Alabama where I played solid all week, just didn’t make the most of my opportunities on the final day, -7 total to finish T19th. In the end this finish is what I needed to keep LPGA status for 2015, so looking back at it it was a very important week!!

Overall my LPGA 2014 has been quite a rollercoaster, but the more I look back at it the more positives I see, as at the beginning of the year I didn’t know if I would get to play one event, then I have a good finish early in the year, get re shuffled and play out the rest of the season! I definately have learnt a lot in my first year out here, and am really excited knowing next year I’m going to be that much more comfortable and hopefully that will reflect in my golf!

So this year I was home for the Grand Final, and even though my team wasn’t in it I still get pretty excited about AFL Grand Final day, its seriously my favorite sport in the world!! (Just ahead of golf!!) But for those that watched it know it wasn’t much of a game, and Hawthorn were by far the better team on the day.. already looking forward to Geelong’s clash with them in round 1!!

So while at home I haven’t been up to a lot really, but always seems to be a busy time!! Spent a lot of time up at my parent’s farm, which is always nice to relax, except when dad puts you to work!!

Its just been great to catch up with family and friends, and especially my 18 mth old niece, because I don’t see her a lot, she changes so much every time I see her!!

Other than that I’ve just been working with my coach on my game, bike riding, beach time, and involved in some corporate days. In the coming weeks I am going to China to play 2 Ladies European Events, which I’m looking forward to getting into some competitions again!!

I hope this finds everyone well, and its been great to catch up with some of you the past month!

Thanks for the support

Thanks for the update Stace. Good luck in China, hopefully we may see you at 13th Beach in February. Played with Val White today, she was in red hot form after 3 weeks in Merimbula.
